Missoula, MT – Missoula County is pleased to announce that Steve Earle
has accepted the position of Fairgrounds Director. Steve currently works
as the general manager for Mountain Line, the Missoula Urban
Transportation District and will start his new position on July 1st. The
County Commissioners and Selection Committee interviewed five strong
finalists for the position earlier this week.
“We’re thrilled Steve has accepted the position with the County,”
commented Chief Administrative Officer, Dale Bickell. “Steve’s strong
connection to the community and proven track record in public sector
management and capital planning will be a tremendous asset to the
Western Montana Fair and Missoula County.
Among the new director’s first duties will be to complete the Fairgrounds
planning process the County started last year. “I am excited to continue
the discussion with the community on how the fairgrounds and the fair
itself will look over the next 20 years and how we can implement those
changes” commented Earle.
